BREAKING NEWS: Multiple People Reportedly Injured in Texas School Shooting

Multiple people were shot and wounded Wednesday morning at Timberview High School in Arlington, Texas, is reporting.

Fox News reported that Texas police have confirmed the shooting at Timberview and were on the scene as officers were "carrying out a methodical search and working closely with ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives), the Mansfield Independent School District, which has its own police department, the Grand Prairie Police Department and other agencies."

Police sources told that three people were shot and taken to the hospital, but there is no word on how severe their injuries are. So far, however, there are not any fatalities.

There are unconfirmed reports that the shooter fled the school.

A live interview with the parent of a student at the school on revealed that the student had taken a video showing a fight inside the school, and that shots had been fired. The student who took the video is unharmed, much to the relief of the parent. After being given the OK by security personnel, the student texted his father that he was safe.

"You just can't describe it. For a while, not knowing if your child is alright or not is the worst thing," the parent said. "We know Arlington PD is doing their best. For a while the kids couldn't use their phone, and we didn't know what was going on. They're now going to be loaded onto buses and taken to a safe location, where we will meet the kids. I'm just very, very relieved right now and feel for anyone who might have been hurt."

A student's mother, Nerissa Knight, tweeted that she was praying for her daughter and other students. "My daughter just texted me that there was a school shooting at Timberview H.S. In Mansfield ISD in Arlington, TX. She sent this video that's out. Her nearby school is on lockdown also, and we hear police sirens rushing in. Police confirm there is an active shooter. Praying."

Young Malcolm X, a Timberview student, caught the fight that started the incident on video and tweeted it: "The fight that led up to the shooting at Timberview High School in Arlington, which is Mansfield ISD."

Parents were directed to go to the student nutrition center in Arlington. The school district is working to bus the students there.
