Spirit-filled Pastor R. Loren Sandford, lead pastor at the nondenominational New Song Church and Ministries in Denver, Colorado, died Friday due to complications from COVID-19. Sandford was 70.

According to the church's Facebook page, Sandford had languished for weeks in the hospital with COVID:

"To all of you who have been praying for Pastor R. Loren Sandford, we wanted to let you know that our dear pastor decided to go home to be with the Father this past Friday. There are no words to express how all of us here on staff and our church body are grieving right now. We all know he is worshipping with the Father. Please continue to keep us all in your prayers. A memorial service is being planned; we will give those details in the next few weeks. Thank you for all your prayers, love and support."

Chuck Pierce Urges Believers to Prepare for What Is About to Happen
For those believers who have become weary because they haven't seen the manifestation of what they are praying for in their family, Chuck Pierce says to prepare yourself. Your time is coming.

Pierce says that those who have been praying for prodigals to come back to the Lord will begin to see it happen soon in this new Hebrew year of 5782. It builds upon a word that was given to a friend, Cheryl Sachs, years ago who prophesied that revival would come to America and to the nations when the family altar was restored.

"That starts this year," Pierce told Mike and Cindy Jacobs on a recent videocast. "There is a manifestation that starts this coming year and we're actually starting to see it. In Mathew 16, Jesus told Peter that 'I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven.' Well, we've been going through the process of unlocking God's kingdom plan on earth. Now, we're starting to build again for the future."

There may finally be hope for those who have worked tirelessly for years to challenge Roe v. Wade, a law legalizing abortion and infamously implemented in the United States in 1973.

The U.S. Supreme Court released a statement Monday saying that it will hear arguments Dec. 1 in a landmark case from Mississippi that could overturn the decades-old law. The case tests whether all state laws that ban pre-viability abortions are unconstitutional, many media outlets are reporting.

Dobbs vs. Jackson Women's Health centers on a Mississippi law banning most abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy. Fox News reported that the "law in question challenges the court's previous ruling in Roe v. Wade and subsequent cases by imposing a restriction on abortion earlier than the recognized point of fetal viability—when a baby would be able to survive outside the womb—at approximately 24 weeks into pregnancy.

A pair of Oregon state senators have jointly filed a formal petition for a grand jury investigation into both the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for the government agencies' reporting on COVID deaths.

The petition filed by Sens. Kim Thatcher and Dennis Linthicum, who represent citizens with professional expertise in medicine, law, statistics and death certificate reporting, reveal 20 pieces of evidence showing a clear need to formally investigate the agencies for willful misconduct, has reported.

The website reported that, in March 2020, according to a paper published in the journal Science, Public Health Policy and the Law, "the CDC abruptly changed how death certificates were record for only one type of death—COVID-19—and circumvented multiple federal laws to do so." The site also says that "this hyperinflation of death certificate reporting kicked off an avalanche of data degradation and destructive health policies.

Christian leaders have condemned the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America after the denomination installed its first openly transgender bishop in a service at San Francisco's Grace Cathedral this past week.

The Associated Press reported that Rev. Meghan Rohrer will lead one of the church's 65 synods and oversee nearly 200 congregations in Northern California and northern Nevada. The AP reported that Rohrer had identified as lesbian previously, "now reportedly identifies as non-binary and prefers to go by 'they/them' pronouns."

David Closson, director of the Center for Biblical Worldview at the Family Research Counsel, told Fox News that the ELCA's "embrace of transgenderism is completely at odds with scripture."
