Jeffrey Epstein Found Injured in Cell After Possible Attempted Suicide

Jeffrey Epstein (NY State Sex Offender Registry)

Jeffrey Epstein, on trial for child sex trafficking, was allegedly found injured in his jail cell after a possible attempted suicide.

He was found unconscious in a fetal position with injuries around his neck on Wednesday, according to reports. The billionaire financier was taken to an unidentified hospital.

Epstein was recently denied bail, which he plans to appeal. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges against him. Since his indictment, at least 12 more alleged victims have come forward, claiming Epstein sexually abused them or allowed others to abuse them.

NBC News reports that Epstein is on suicide watch at the Metropolitan Correctional Center.
