Bethel Begs for Supernatural Intervention, Intercession as Fires Rage Near Campus

(Jesse Maitland/Bethel Church, Redding/Facebook)

Shasta County, California, wildfires are blazing across Northern California, destroying everything in their paths. In the line of fire: Bethel's home campus in Redding.

The Spirit-filled organization asked for urgent prayers and supernatural intervention in a recent Facebook post.

If you want to help those affected by the fires, you can give through Charisma's non-profit partner Christian Life Missions. One hundred percent of your donation will go to those affected. We have already sent $5000 to Bill Johnson and Bethel Church since they know where the needs are. Send a check to Fire Disaster Fund, Christian Life Missions, 600 Rinehart Rd. Lake Mary, Florida 32746. Or give through PayPal at or call 407-333-0600 during business hours to give by phone.

The church also created a Facebook page for people to offer emergency services to their community.

"This may look like having a truck to help someone move, opening up your home for people to come and have meals, or even making room for people to come and stay until they are able to return home," according to the description.

Administrators posted evacuation information, emergency shelters and more.

Kris Vallotton, a Bethel leader, said home electricity is expected to be out until Aug. 7.

Please pray for Northern California today.
