Teen Challenge USA is a finalist in The National Religious Broadcasters' 2012 Media Awards.

Teen Challenge USA joins Focus on the Family, Hope for the Heart and Life Issues Institute as the four finalists in the Radio Impact Awards category. In all, the NRB has 16 categories for which it presents awards for, including in the areas of television, radio and the Internet.

"I'm delighted to see such excellence in the 2012 nominees," said NRB Awards Committee Chairman Bob Lepine. "These organizations and individuals have sought to honor the Lord with their talents, and we are pleased to recognize their accomplishments as finalists for these awards."

The awards recipients will be announced in NRB's weekly email publication, "NRB Today," over the course of January and February, leading up to the NRB Convention.

"It's hard to keep quiet about a miracle—and even harder when there are thousands upon thousands of broken and hopeless lives being restored," said Lynn Scherber, media director for Teen Challenge USA. "Here at Teen Challenge, we have the unique privilege of witnessing firsthand the dramatic transformation that takes place in an addict's life when Jesus Christ enters the picture."

The NRB 2012 Media Awards will be presented to the recipients at the Awards Reception on Tuesday, Feb. 21, as part of the NRB 2012 Convention & Exposition at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn.
