Commentator Mollie Hemingway appeared on Fox News on Sunday, where she responded to The View host Joy Behar's proclamation last week that it's essentially "mental illness" to believe that "Jesus talks to you."
While Hemingway said Christians are used to this sort of rhetoric and "can handle this kind of ridicule," she also offered up a mic-drop explanation of what, exactly, Christians believe about how they communicate with God.
"Christians believe that God talks to them through His word," she said. "This is a basic Christian belief, and not something that really should be held up for mocking or ridicule."
