Here's a quick summary of the top stories on charismanews.com:
Glenn Beck was aided in his travels last week by televangelist Kenneth Copeland, who lent his private jet to the conservative talk radio host as he worked to rescue endangered Christians in Afghanistan.
Beck's operation, The Nazarene Fund, has resulted in the rescue of more than 5,000 Christian refugees, who have now been relocated in a handful of different countries—a Goliath task he said was accomplished with no help from the U.S. government.
Beck, who has been in the Middle East personally, told Fox News host Tucker Carlson that none of his travel costs have been paid by The Nazarene Fund. Instead, Beck told the anchor, he is paying his own way.
Sometimes it is necessary to call out evil, even when it is the evil of an entire Christian generation.
In Matthew 12:34-39, Jesus said, "Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words, you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned." Then, some of the scribes and Pharisees answered, saying, "Teacher, we want to see a sign from You." But He answered and said to them, "An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah."
What part of voting for Joe Biden had anything to do with your Christian faith? What justified the utter betrayal of your faith? Why did you vote for evil? There is no excuse. You are naked in your choice and it is time to cleanse your soul.
While many preachers are hesitant, if not fearful, to speak their mind from the pulpit about today's cultural and political issues, Jack Hibbs certainly is not one of them.
Hibbs, the senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills in Chino Hills, California, says he has proof that the citizens of that state are being duped about a bill Democratic lawmakers are trying to pass that would prevent them from doing just about anything in public without proof that they have received what he says are "flawed" vaccines.
Hibbs says he has an impact team that "literally hunts down bad ideas" in the legislature in the state capital of Sacramento. "It's beautiful to say that we have spies. It's true, the other team doesn't know who the spies are," Hibbs says.
